Highly recommended: Animal’s People by Indra Sinha

Through solidarity with survivors of the 1984 gas disaster in Bhopal, India, we know author Indra Sinha, whose novel  Animal’s People was short-listed for the prestigious Man Booker Prize.

Animal’s People is “a bold, punchy parable” based on Bhopal today, whose lead character, “Animal” is a disabled gas survivor.  We are keen for people to have the chance to read this gripping, bitterly humorous story.  Note: has adult humour and very strong language.

“Scabrously funny” – New York Magazine.

As WinVisible’s network is mainly low-income women with disabilities, Indra Sinha has kindly arranged with the publisher, copies at a discount for us.
